The Saint Augustine Beach House

An older property carefully maintained and remodeled, right on the beach. Every room is beach front. Very large rooms, takes dogs, comfy bed. The staff is just excellent. Very helpful. They've thought of everything. They even let you use the properties washers and dryers if you need to throw in a load. There's a shuttle that takes you back and forth to St. Augustine, with very helpful drivers.

My wife and I have been coming to the Saint Augustine Beach House since 2014. We originally chose this particular hotel because it was dog friendly - it was rated 5 bones on Bring Fido - the highest bone rating you can get. From our first night there in 2014 - we loved it. W have been coming back each year since. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach at Vilano and is within walking distance of everything you might need or want. No hotel in Vilano has a better beach location. The rooms are very spacious and perfectly appointed, all look out on the ocean. All rooms have a deck and we love to sit with our coffee in the mornings and watch the surfers. Our room had a king bed and breakfast is served every morning. There are a variety of choices so that each day can be special. Most importantly for me there are Keurig coffee makers so I can enjoy my coffee from the moment I get up to when I head out. As I wrote earlier everything is within walking distance. There are three restaurants and a Publix grocery store. Vilano 180 is the best! The staff at the Beach House are very friendly and we felt very welcome. The Beach House is the best in Vilano!
